It is now the turn of the US to provide a home for the booming wire and cable industry, for a week at least, in the form of Wire Expo. The Wire Association International’s Operations Summit and Wire Expo is being staged in Nashville, Tennessee, from 14 th to 16 th May. Leaders and wire and cable industry colleagues will be taking part in the biennial staging where the keynote speaker will be former Navy SEAL Curt Cronin. Staged at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, Monday 14 th May kicks off with the Fundamentals of Wire & Cable Manufacturing as the starting point for 14 presentations on day one. The table-top exhibits start on Tuesday, running alongside another full day of papers. The event ends on Thursday with a post-show plant tour at the Nissan Motor Company in Smyrna, Tennessee.
