Underground cable contract

Prysmian Brasil has signed a contract with AES Eletropaulo for the implementation of an underground power transmission system in the city of São Paulo. The scope of the project includes the supply of materials, equipment and technicians to perform civil works, electromechanical assembly, testing and commissioning of the underground transmission line. The new line will connect the power grid of AES Eletropaulo to the transformer distribution station currently under

construction in the Vila Mariana neighborhood, south of São Paulo. The underground line will have a total extension of approximately 2.9km of Prysmian high voltage cables, totaling 18,000m of cabling.

The completion of the work is scheduled for October 2018.
