Expansion for recycler

Fluoropolymer Resources LLC (FRL) has opened a new 63,000ft 2 production facility in North Windham, Connecticut. FRL, a division of Prime Materials Recovery, is a recycler of FEP, PFAand ETFE fluoropolymer plastics in North America. A press release said that the company’s latest facility will bring all existing assets under one roof, while also adding new capacity and capabilities to expand the company’s position as a fluoropolymer reprocessor.

More spacewas also required tocomplete the integration of FRL’s 2018 acquisition of Trifluor Kunststoff, a supplier of reprocessed PFA and FEP with clarity and properties equal to prime virgin polymer. The resource has added substantially to FRL’s commitment to upgrade the usefulness and value of even the most contaminated PFA and FEP scrap supplies.
