Cable assembly range Raltron’s RF cable assembly range has been extended to serve RF and Internet of Things applications, and complements Raltron’s RF connector, adapter and attenuator product lines. Raltron’s RF cable assembly choice now incorporates several series of flexible, low- loss coaxial cable assemblies including TNC, type N, BNC, MMCX, MCX, SMA, SMC, Type F, IPEX, FME and SMB, all with a frequency range from DC to 6GHz. Raltron also provides a DIM flexible low-loss cable assembly that operates up to 14GHz.

Compact data line protection

Littelfuse Inc has launched a range to safeguard signal integrity and maintain network communication. Its series of low capacitance TVS diode arrays (SPA diodes) is optimized to protect high-speed differential data lines from electrostatic discharge (ESD), cable discharge events (CDE), electrical fast transients (EFT) and lightning-induced surges. The SP3384NUTG series is designed to protect four channels against up to 15A, and up to ±30kV ESD, and is available in a compact μDFN package. The combination of low capacitance and low clamping voltage makes the SP3384NUTG a robust protection option for 2.5G/5G/10G ethernet high-speed data interfaces without signal degradation, resulting in high reliability for data center, industrial and telecommunications markets. “Building upon similar footprints in 1GbE and 5GbE applications, the SP3384NUTG expands our portfolio to fill a market need for ultra-strong ESD and surge protection for today’s fastest 10GbE consumer ethernet solutions,” said Tim Micun, director of

A wide variety of RF connectors, including MCX and MMCX straight jack connectors for PCB receptacles, SMP, BNC, TNC, Mini UHF, SMA, SMC and SMB RF are also available, operating over a range of working voltages and frequencies between 0 and 26.5GHz.
