Metalube lubricants helped Bahra Cables hit high performance targets

Lubricants ease production growth

Bahra Cables, a producer of industrial wire and power cable products, has achieved high performance targets using Metalube’s specialist wire drawing lubricants, Lubricool™ 22G and Metaclean NEC-50. Both lubricants are in use on the company’s twin wire copper rod breakdown machine. Using Metalube Lubricool 22G while maintaining in-house controls, daily monitoring, filtration and the ongoing use of Metalube Metaclean NEC-50 as a conditioning tonic, Bahra Cables says it has achieved maximum production speeds of 36m per second and an average daily production of 120 tonnes of drawn copper.
