Name that cable Brady Corporation’s new Wraptor A6500 wire identification printer applicator automatically prints and applies wrap- around labels on a wide range of insertable cables. It identifiescables infiveseconds, eliminating the need to print labels in advance and the time needed to apply them by hand. The Wraptor prints at 300dpi for barcodes, logos and diagrams, and applies a tight label wrap around the wire, with minimal bubbling or wrinkling. Without adjustment the Wraptor A6500 can identify cables from 1.52mm to 15.24mm in diameter, and apply labels with widths up to 50.8mm, and of lengths between 19.05mm and 76.2mm. The unit can be coupled with Brady Workstation apps for easy label design, barcoding and serialization, and can be integrated with Schleuniger cut and strip machines. Cable handling onboard Swan Hunter has completed mobilization and commissioning of its new modular offshore carousel and associated equipmentforCWind’smulti-purposebarge, ASV Pioneer . The new basket carousel has

been mobilized at 2,000t capacity, the smallest of four configurations, but can be extended up to 7,000t. Besides the carousel, Swan Hunter provided a loading tower combined with 10t tensioner, which has been integrated with the client-specific cable highway.

Completing the cable handling spread is a 15t deck-mounted tensioner.
