Precision Measurement & Control Solutions The project, expected to comprise three wind turbines with a combined capacity of up to 25MW, is a step towards implementingtheOffshoreWindEconomic Development Act and meeting Governor Phil Murphy’s statewide goal of 3,500MW of offshore wind generation by 2030. New Jersey residents could expect to receive power generated by the Nautilus offshore project as early as 2021.

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities has accepted an application from EDF Renewables and Fishermen’s Energy for the development of Nautilus Offshore Wind Project. The agency will review the project over the next few months before reaching a decision. The Nautilus project, located about 2.8 miles east of the coastline of Atlantic City, could be complete as early as 2020.
