Advaris USA has a contract to implement its manufacturing execution system (MES), including its cable design and full SCADA system, for Kobrex of Monterrey, Mexico. Kobrex is a manufacturer of copper rod, copper and aluminum cables for low, medium and high voltage applications. Advaris will begin the MES project this summer with a full implementation process in parallel with SAP’s S/4HANA for Mill Products ERP. Advaris is a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software tailored to fit producers of wire, cable, rope and steel cord, and other length-based manufacturers. The Advaris software will give Kobrex full control of the manufacturing process including routing, planning, scheduling and quality control. “Advaris’sMESwill enableKobrex toautomate key operational processes, schedule manufacturing projects more efficiently, and put the right information into the hands of the right people at the right time.
