New ground for rebar

North Carolina-based Nucor is building a $400 million steel rebar manufacturing plant in Sedalia, west-central Missouri. Rob Dixon, director of Missouri’s State Department of Economic Development, said the new plant was scheduled to open in late December 2019. The rebar plant is among the largest projects Missouri has secured in the past decade.
