Canadian acquisition

TPC Wire and Cable Corp has completed its acquisition of Milrail Inc, a move that TPC expects to strengthen its position in the high-performance wire and cable market, as well as expand Milrail’s presence in the US and Mexico. Quebec-based Milrail supplies wire, cable and interconnect devices to the rail, transit and military markets in Canada. President and co-founder Allan LaPlante said: “CombiningMilrail’s exceptional customer service and technical support with TPC’s

broader commercial capabilities allows our two companies to carry this torch into the future, and throughout North America, in the wire, cable and connectivity market.” Jeff Crane, TPC president and CEO, acknowledged that TPC will focus on establishing the Milrail products in the US and Mexico markets.
