The Norwegian energy company Statkraft has announced that the Schornhof solar park is delivering power to the Bavarian grid, following its commissioning of 30MW capacity. Located in the municipality of Berg im Gau, Bavaria, the solar park is designed for a total installed capacity of 120MW. The solar park is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2021, generating over 110GWh of electricity annually. With the commissioning of the solar park, Statkraft and Anumar have also secured a further 40MW, still under construction, through a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA). The two companies have now finalized electricity supply contracts of 90MW. Statkraft has announced that it will shortly begin construction of its 519MW Ventos de Santa Eugeniawind project in north-eastern Brazil. Ingolstadt-based Anumar designs, builds and operates solar power facilities in Germany and Chile.
