Stonepeak Partners has acquired Astound Broadband for $3.6 billion. Astound, previously owned by private equity firm TPG and cable management company Patriot Media Management, is the operator of RCN Telecom Services LLC, Grande Communications, Wave Broadband and enTouch Systems.
