UK manufacturers Bollhoff Fastenings and Bollhoff Armstrong, have merged to form Bollhoff Ltdwith effect from1 st November 2018. The family-owned and run Bollhoff group, which purchased Hull-based Armstrong Precision Components in 2010, has seen sales of its Helicoil threaded inserts treble in the last eight years, led in part by buoyant aerospace, defense and automotive markets. At the same time, Willenhall-based Bollhoff Fastenings, established in the UK in 1985, has seen its business base grow by 300 percent over the same period. The company has been responsible for a widening portfolio of some Bollhoff brands, including Rivnut,

Onsert, Rivtac, Snaploc, Quickloc, andRivset. The group will continue to invest in both its Willenhall andHull locations, andwill expand staff numbers and manufacturing capacity at each site tokeeppacewith risingdemand. “These are great times for Bollhoff,” said UK director and country manager Leigh Burgoyne. “We have established a reputation as innovators, manufacturers and suppliers providing high-tech, practical fastening solutions across all industries. Our Helicoil brand, arguably the best-known threaded insert worldwide, will continue to be produced in our Hull plant and, since becoming part of the Bollhoff group, the company has invested significantly in new technology.”
