Transmission acquisition

Invenergy has revealed its intention to acquire all the development assets of the Grain Belt Express transmission project — planned to carry power from western Kansas to Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and neighboring states. The new infrastructure is critical to supporting significant additions of renewable and clean generation sources to the nation’s electricity mix.
