Custom steel wire form manufacturer Marlin Steel is enhancing its production center in Baltimore, Maryland, with the installation of new manufacturing automation to its factory floor. Company officials announced: “This machine represents the single largest investment in factory automation that Marlin Steel has made since 2014, when [we] acquired the Ideal MFDC welder, the only such welder in the western hemisphere.”

Drew Greenblatt, CEO of Marlin Steel, said: “To stay on top, American manufacturers need to have the best people, the best processes, and the best tools. “We’re investing in our team and our tools so we can deliver better wire baskets and rack products, faster.
