Nuclear cable RSCC Nuclear Cable is to begin manufacturing class1E cables for delivery to the United Arab Emirates’ peaceful nuclear energy program. RSCC was selected on technical merit to supply safety-class cables to the four-reactor project, managed by Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC). RSCC has supplied the nuclear energy industry for over 40 years, believed longer than any other cable maker. In addition to supplying cables to every reactor in North America, RSCC supplies reactors in over a dozen countries throughoutAsia, Europe, andSouth America. RSCC has also provided safety-related cables to US government nuclear facilities and has qualified safety-related cables for more nuclear applications than any other company in the world. “RSCC is pleased to be selected for the UAE peaceful nuclear energy program. RSCC has successfully met or exceeded all test requirements to date, and we are confident about our ability to complete and pass remaining tests on time to meet all customer and regulatory expectations and requirements,” said Steven Bonnell, president of RSCC Wire & Cable.
Recycling Equipment Canada has partnered with OBC Baling Equipment to support the distribution of MG Recycling branded equipment throughout Canada. MG Recycling equipment uses a metered pulverization process and a patented Zig Zag Turbo air separation system to deliver accurate and efficient copper recovery from solid and stranded wireandcable.Thissameequipment also processes aluminum, radiators and e-waste (WEEE). In early 2013, OBC Baling Equipment was awarded exclusive distribution rights of MG Recycling products throughout Canada. With the Recycling Equipment Canada partnership, OBC Baling will be well positioned to serve and support the Canadian markets. “We’re excited to offer our customers a copper wire recycling system that delivers 99 percent pure copper from all types of copper wire and cable. The MG systems can handle everything from fine gauge auto wiring harnesses to the largest solid copper power cables,” explained Pete Mulvany, CEO of Recycling Equipment Canada.
