Tenova LOI Thermprocess, a specialist in the field of heat treatment plants, has received an order from Wuhan Iron & Steel Co Ltd (WISCO) for the installation of a continuous quench for the cooling of thin steel plates. The quench is designed for efficient cooling of thin and very thin plates of high strength and wear-resistant material. Quenches adopted for this application ensure maximum hardness and flatness combined with powerful models and automation.
