New double twist bunching machine

ABZ, a wire and cable machine making supplier in China, focuses on manufacturing slip type/no-slip type RBD, rigid frame stranding machines with separated motors, high speed tubular stranding machines, drum twisters and planetary type stranding machines. Last year, the company decided to also cover the small strand market (0.16 to 7mm 2 ), by making a new product: a high-level double twister bunching machine, designed in coop- eration with a European engineering team. The new machine, for 630mm flange bobbins, is available in two versions for strand pitch: mechanical by gear couple or with capstan electronic control. Features include a maximum

wire type, as an optional purchase with the drawing machines. The die box is equipped with a compartment for the dry or wet soap drawing lubrication and a rotating cooling body for the die. The soap box can be custom- ised, depending on the customer’s requirements. The cooling body is made for customer-specific die sizes and can be manufactured with direct or indirect cooling. The die box is mounted on a cast and helix adjustment plate and can be adjusted in both horizontal and vertical planes for fine-tuning of the cast and helix. A special vibration damper minimises wire vibrations between the die and the block. With a rotating die holder, the lifetime of the die is extended and the wire is rounder. With more lubricant on the wire, the quality of the finished product also improves.
