NDC Technologies, a provider of con- nected measurement and control sol- utions, is known for its Beta LaserMike product line of gauging solutions for the wire, cable, pipe and tube industries. Over the years, the company has introduced a number of diameter measurement systems, including the industry’s only four-axis gauge. Responding to customer needs, the R&D team at NDC has unveiled a new diameter gauging system. The AccuScan Die Quip Die Quip has established a line of machines to grind, polish and size dies in a quick, efficient, accurate process, eliminating operator error and guesswork. Better dies pull more wire and cause fewer production problems, so Die Quip has designed stand- alone machines for finishing dies in all sizes; for larger production runs, the company builds work cells to increase efficiency and eliminate downtime fromsize changeovers.
