Strengthening partnership in Japanese market lune CHF GmbH, a supplier of in-line and contact-free temperature measurement systems, and Unitek Japan KK are continuing their long-term partnership in Japan.

Unitek Japan KK is a supplier to the Japanese cable and wire producing industry, andrepresents someof themajor European brands. It is headquartered in Osaka, with offices in Yokohama. Takuya Okamoto and Yuichiro Imato from Unitek met with Olaf Neuhausen, managing director of lune, at the wire 2022 exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany. Mr Okamoto and Mr Neuhausen agreed on the common strategy for the coming years to continue and strengthen the joint support for the Japanese market. lune is a German manufacturer of devices to determine the temperature of wire, conductor, cable and other goods such as optical fibre in production processes. The systems are particularly suited to closed-loop control of preheaters and other temperature-sensitive production processes. The lune method is based on convective heat flow. It works without optics and does not have to deal with the difficulties and disadvantages from infrared temperature measurement. The method works on all blank metals, such as copper, aluminium and steel, and also on all polymers. All diameters from 75 micron

are covered, and a high line speed of up to 2,500m/min is within the specification. The lune management team has announced that the company’s long partnership with Unitek Japan KK will continue. Numerous cable and wire producers are headquartered in Japan, and the Japanese market is a core part of the lune strategy. Customer satisfaction rated high In the first and second quarter of 2022, Madem companies in Brazil, Spain, Bahrain and the USA conducted a survey of 193 cable customers in 42 countries.

Madem, a wooden reels producer, polled the following services: claim response, quantities shipped X received, documentation, deliveries, quality inspections, performance and packing. Madem Gulf Bahrain concluded the customer satisfaction survey with 36 wire and cable manufacturing customers in 13 countries in the Middle East, Asia, Oceania and Africa. 92 per cent feedback responses were received, 100 per cent of which fell into good and very good categories.
