Enhanced production capacity of aluminium alloys

Adhering to the “Make In India” initiative of Indian prime minister Narendra Modi, Isinox Alloys has invested in new Indian machinery. To meet increased demand from European and American companies, Isinox Alloys has extended its manu- facturing capacity by setting up the India-made machines to draw aluminium alloys. To achieve maximum tensile strength through a multi-step thermal treatment, Isinox Alloys has produced corrosion- resistant alu alloy wire in grade 5154. This grade is claimed to provide 21 to 25kg per mm square tensile strength and elongation of 10 to 14 per cent.

The company also manufactures alloy wire in grades such as 5019, 5050, 5052, 5056, 5154, 5356, 5754, 6101 and 6202. Products are available in 1 to 5kg spools, with quality ensured by an automatic die shop equipped with laser, Conoptica and other die checking equipment. The main applications of the company’s wires are in flexible coaxial cable, audio and video cable, vehicle signal cable, network cable and data transmission cable. Al-Mg alloy wire 5154 can be used in cable conductors, braiding and shielding, single wire conductor and other conductors. Isinox Alloys www.isinoxalloys.in
