glass is additionally available for the N 3. On the N 20, a Schuko plug socket with RCD is available for connecting items such as an external grinding wheel. CEA SpA www.ceaweld.com

The system is available for round products from 20 to 2,000µm, and offers a complementary solution to the company’s current offering to improve quality inspection. Among other equipment to be exhibited at the show will be the LDS device (Ø from 5 to 2,000µm), first developed more than 20 years ago for laboratory applications, and continually improved. Fitted with the WSR accessory (for measuring over 360°) and associated with CIM software, it becomes a complete solution. Other devices for quality control will be present, such as the LPS-3-H to monitor diameter and detect lumps and neckdowns in a single product, for larger wire and cable diameters (Ø from 0.3 to 5mm), and with an acquisition speed of 20 kHz. Cersa-MCI products include a complete range of devices dedicated to optical fibre measurement, and a complete solution to ensure high quality certification during the drawing process, available with multi-industry standard communications. A trolley for easy manoeuvrability is available on all of the N series as default, except for the N 22, for which a wheel trolley is available on request. Jaws opening and closing is by means of mechanical foot pedals on the N 9 and N 20, and by manual levers on the N 3, N 12 and N 22. The SRT 11, SQ/A and SQ/ AS models are operated by electrical pedals. Cersa-MCI is a manufacturer of measuring devices for the fine wire, cable and optical fibre industries. Since 1981 the company has provided technologies to help customers enhance production quality. The product range covers on-line and off-line applications for non-contact measurement. Cersa will be present at wire Düsseldorf 2020 to show its measuring equipment, and specifically the latest device for surface analysis. Focused on high-speed line measurement, SQM-F (new patent technology) captures surface defects and displays their shape on screen. Visitors will have the opportunity to attend a device presentation operating on several sample wires.
