Exhibition double-header The month of September firmly switches its attention to exhibitions in Asia as two of the biggest in the area – wire China and wire Southeast Asia – feature in this issue of Wire & Cable ASIA . wire China is being staged from 4 to 7 September in Shanghai in its first staging since 2020. And if exhibitor interest is anything to go by, the appetite for exhibitions has reached a new level, with the original allocation of stands sold out some time ago. One of the most influential trade fairs in the region, wire China will feature industry-leading brands from the mainland, as state-of-the-art equipment, technologies and solutions will be on display to the domestic market. Demand was such that organisers Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co Ltd and Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute Co Ltd (SECRI) increased space in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre to accommodate burgeoning interest from home and abroad.
