ITU opens centre in New Delhi The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has opened the ITU Area Office and Innovation Centre in New Delhi. The new office in India’s capital includes ITU’s first centre for innovation, positioning it as a hub for promoting advanced technologies

ITU secretary-general Doreen Bogdan Martin commented, “With tremendous gratitude for the generous support of India, ITU is now able to work even closer to the people it serves. “Meaningful connectivity and innovation are tightly linked, and we will use our new presence in South Asia to expand the benefits of digital technology for everyone, everywhere.” The office will also be used to strengthen collaborative action on universal con- nectivity and sustainable digital trans- formation. The overall size range for the company’s bars and billets is 22 to 560mm (7/8" to 22").
