DAVIS-Standard lost a loyal employee and friend on 9 th June with the death of Edward Trimpert Sr, after com- plications from a heart attack. He will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew him. He spent the majority of his 20-year career as a plastics engineer with Davis- Standard, starting with Egan John Brown Plastics (now Davis-Standard) in 1983. Death of Edward Trimpert Sr

Most recently, he worked as an international sales engineer in the sheet group covering Asia and Latin America. He was known as a hard worker and talented engineer, using his skills to grow the company. “Sheet extrusion was Ed’s passion,” said Steve DeAngelis, Davis-Standard vice president, sheet and foam. “He was dedicated, a problem solver and an outstanding teacher, which endeared him to customers and colleagues alike. His absence will impact all who knew him.” In addition to his outstanding work on the job, Mr Trimpert was an avid sports fan. He loved the Yankees and Cowboys, and was very involved in coaching his children’s sports teams.
