The possibilities of CNC wire forming

Worldwide wire working machines The Delisi company manufactures, sells and exports wire working machines. Still an independent company, Delisi offers automatic straightening and cutting machines for smooth and ribbed wires of diameters from 1mm to 20mm. Delisi machines are designed for versatility and can be suited to the customer’s requirements. Feeding speed is regulated by hand-wheel or an electronic system. Feeding rolls are never changed; with the hand-wheel it is easy to select the grooves on the feeding rolls to suit the diameter. The spinner has a pre-regulated set of straightening jaws and it is said to take only a minute to change wire diameter. An electronic programmer and one or three lines of pneumatically tiltable arms can be supplied with the rod collection bed. OMCG CNC benders are available to form wire, tube and strip or parts for assembly, in variations to cover low, medium or high volume up to 18,000 per hour. CNC allows forming with wire from 1mm to 18mm. The bend head allows sharp inside radii smaller than any pin diameter. Parts can have a formed eye on both ends. Additional ancillary units allow coining, cold heading, threading and welding. With the manipulator, assembly is possible and limited only by the imagination of the engineer to create the work cell.

It is possible to make two parts and then weld them together.

With Easy Program 3D screen animation a program can be prepared, tested and sent to the CNC machine via a company network without interfering with existing production.
