Increasing quality and finish Even expensive components of the best quality are subject to increasing wear during production, especially in the process of producing finished products – fine wire in particular. The condition of these components has a direct influence on product quality. As a result they have to be replaced for quality reasons. WireTrex reconditions annealing hubs and ceramic drawing tools as an economic alternative to purchasing new parts. In addition to erasing wear marks, special attention is paid to surface quality. The reconditioning process gives a diamond polished high gloss surface, which not only increases the quality of products but also extends component life.
Annealing hubs can be reconditioned with variable coating thickness as well as hardness. Reconditioned ceramic step-cones will also maintain the aspect ration of the individual steps as per customer specifications.
