Brazing for high-voltage transformers For production workers in transformer manufacturing, August Strecker offers the LP10 brazing machine. Designed to meet the specific needs of manufacturing high-voltage transformers, the unit is used for brazing copper conductors and ensures simple, repeatable operation by a multiple positioning laser and temperature control via pyrometer. The parameterisation and quality recording, as well as real-time display of set and actual values, can be adjusted and monitored on a control panel. Three-dimensional detection technology LaserLinc, a producer of open and scalable measurement and process control solutions, will showcase its FIawSense technology at upcoming trade shows. adherence to the high product quality standards.

to be up to 50 times more accurate than vision systems and laser micrometers. The versatility extends across appli- cations including subterranean and undersea fibre optic cables, complex armoured cables, power cables, building wires and tubing for critical cables. The customisation capabilities allow operators to save measurement settings, facilitating future re-use and quick changeovers to streamline the inspection process. LaserLinc, Inc https://laserlinc.com Barida Group engineers roll-based solutions, and manufactures roll form- ing lines, cut-to-length lines, slitting lines and press feeding lines in both mainstream and customised versions. The company offers line and equipment solutions for open profiles (roll form lines), closed profiles (welded pipe and profile), coil cutting (cut-to-length lines), coil slitting (slitting lines) and entire lines for roll forming. Barida responds to customer require- ments using expert teams and up to-date technological applications in the fields of R&D, design, projects and automation. Roll-based solutions

LaserLinc states that the technology is adaptable, easy to use and accurate, compared to traditional 2D camera based vision systems and variable, labour-intensive manual inspection methods. Operators can efficiently detect defects, saving time and materials, regardless of product shape, orientation or ambient light conditions. FIawSense technology archives defect data for 3D playback and visualisation, offering process insights for continuous improvement. The solutions are claimed

FIawSense technology uses laser-line triangulation to provide 360° three dimensional inspection of products. In real time, FIawSense quickly identifies surface defects such as cracks, bumps, pits, wrinkles and scratches. The system promptly relays defect size and location to the operator during production, enabling the removal of flawed material. FIawSense also ensures precise diameter and ovality measurements, for

New rotary die design Extrusion tooling specialist Guill Tool has announced the availability of its rotary die. The rotary head offers a simplified design compared to previous models. By rotating the tooling in relation to the material flow, a rotary head increases the wall strength of an extrusion, allowing a thinner wall with less material. Features include only rotating the die, randomising any gauge bands or thickness variations and, in some cases, improving material properties of the end product. Various sizes of tubing can be accommodated with the Guill cam lock design, which reduces set-up and changeover times.

multi-lumen tubing, and various high end extrusions with interlocking layers or multiple striping requirements. Guill Tool & Engineering https://guill.com

Extruders can eliminate secondary processes, and achieve cosmetic enhancement of the end product with the elimination of weld or parting lines, as well as reducing or completely eliminating ovality. Typical applications for rotary heads include medical and
