Lämneå Bruk expands production facilities For Swedish wire machinery manufacturer Lämneå Bruk, 2021 was a turnaround point. After a temporary drop in sales due to the Covid-19 pandemic and worldwide uncertainties in 2020, the company not only recovered, but also recorded one of the best results in its 100+ year history. For 2022, the company’s plans include expanding its production area and investing in new equipment to move further towards process automation and Industry 4.0. Two additional halls for assembling wire machinery and equipment are currently being built behind the existing workshop. Both halls are expected to be finished in the next few months. The intention is to eventually use one of the new buildings for welding robots, which will help make production more efficient and bring Lämneå Bruk closer to a fully automated and streamlined production process.
