A sustainable choice Maillefer has received its ISO 14001:2015 certificate, completing the certification for the group. Lars Fagerholm, president of the group, said, “Maillefer continues to commit to and demonstrate sustainable value in how we operate and in the performance of our technology. “We continuously drive our operations toward more sustainable processes, fully utilise 100 per cent green energy resources, and invest in our organisation and the way of working to meet sustainable and best ethical values.” He went on to say that the company’s technology portfolio is focused on optimal material utilisation, waste management and high-quality end-product production, and concluded, “We are happy to receive recognition for the environmental management systems we’ve put in place. The ISO 14001:2015 certificate shows our commitment to stay on the path of sustainability.”

New trade fairs for Eurasian market Taking another step towards globalisa tion with a focus on the international growth markets of the metal industry, the new trade fairs wire Eurasia and Tube Eurasia will be held for the first time in Istanbul, Turkey, from 24 to 27 May 2023.

VR innovation at wire India Swedish wire machinery manufacturer Lämneå Bruk has reported that its stand at wire India 2022, which took place in November in Mumbai, was highly frequented during the event.

Company president Jonas Hagstedt summarised wire India as entirely positive.
