A fascinating mix awaits 1,400 exhibitors. 70,000 visitors from 80 countries. The hustle and bustle of exhibition halls teeming with new technology. There’s a fascinating mix of sellers and buyers in a friendly and business-like environment. The biennial staging of wire – and running concurrently Tube – is now just a matter of weeks away, and judging from our coverage already, attendance figures are likely to be broken during the five-day exhibition. As the industry in general goes from strength to strength, despite the recent trade dispute between the USA and China, it is encouraging that growth is expected worldwide as companies embrace change, Industry 4.0 and green challenges facing everyone. For the first time in Düsseldorf, a new section of the wire show covering fasteners and springs will make its debut in halls 16 and 17, embracing the entire value chain for the industry. Also for the first time, ‘ecoMetals trails’ will highlight companies that have taken a sustainable, environmentally friendly, energy-saving and innovative stand in the industry. Some of these companies will form part of guided tours as the environment comes to the fore.

Wire & Cable ASIA and sister publication EuroWire will also be freely distributed from our stands 11D26 and 1FO01 at the newly built South entrance. Our leading tube magazines – Tube & Pipe Technology and Tube Products INTERNATIONAL – will also be given away free from stands 1FO01 and 04E44.
