Exhibitors who are committed to energy-saving production, material and resource efficiency, climate- compatible use of renewable energies or energy control can join in the campaign, which runs throughout the week. In use for the first time at wire and Tube is the new South Entrance and Hall 1. Arriving through the new entrance, visitors will pass

under a 20m-high canopy made from transluscent fibreglass fabric. At 158m long and 77m wide, the new Hall 1 – without any supporting pillars – provides some 12,000m 2 of floor space, allowing room for 10,000 people. This is all part of the net 120,000m 2 which will be occupied during the week in a total of 16 halls.
