THE most recent issue of Niehoff Magazine, the customer newspaper of the wire and cable machinery manufacturer Maschinenfabrik Niehoff, is now available. It contains articles in English and German with summaries in Chinese and Russian. The main article, ‘Energy and the future. Big demand for cables and wires in Europe’, deals with the importance of automotive technology for the wire and cable industry and the electricity supply in Europe. In an interview, Philipp Radbourne from the business consultancy and market research institute Integer Research explains details about the evaluation of business information and the derivation of market trends, while in the company portrait, the Er-Bakır company is presented. In a series of articles about the Niehoff group, Maschinenfabrik Niehoff (CZ), sro is introduced. The Czech Niehoff subsidiary manufactures individual components and mechanical assemblies which are completed and tested in the main factory in Schwabach.
