New order for Kocks RSB from China The Chinese steel producer Xinji Aosen Special Steel Group Co and Friedrich Kocks GmbH & Co have signed a contract for the installation of an RSB® 370++/4 reducing and sizing block in 5.0 design. struction steel, high-quality carbon construction steel, welding, high-speed steel and galvanised wire.

The investment in a 700,000-t/a special bar quality (SBQ) rolling mill is a significant milestone for Xinji Aosen, marking its first entry into SBQ straight bar production. Positioned after 21 H/V stands, the Kocks reducing and sizing block will finish bars onto the cooling bed within a dimension range of Ø 20 to 90mm with high dimensional tolerance. The scope of supply includes remote control for stand and guide adjustments, equipment for the roll shop, and the advanced Bamicon Octopus soft- ware, which assists operators in stand
