980km ground wire contract Suzhou Furukawa Power Optic Cable Co Ltd (SFPOC) has been awarded a new contract by Proyecto Infraestructura Del Peru (PDI) for the supply of 980km of optical ground wire (OPGW) and fittings for one of the largest 500kV power transmission projects in Peru. UK lubricant manufacturer Metalube hosted a distributor conference in Bangkok, Thailand, for its Southeast Asian distributors from Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. The conference was staged before the start of the wire Southeast Asia exhibition. Metalube representatives from Manchester, Dubai, India, Malaysia and China hosted the event where new products were unveiled alongside technical training.
