India forms an enormous part of the global economy and rapid advances over the past years have seen the country become an important player in many markets, wire and cable among them. The most noticeable thing in this issue is the optimism flooding throughout, not just India, but the industry as a whole.

Stories are of companies making major investments, winning large scale contracts, company buy-outs and turning in profits larger than before the recession took a hold on the global economies.
