Software support as customer service The success of industrial software lies not only in the software itself, but also in the support. If software used in production fails, there will be standstill, not only in production but also with customers if no goods can be delivered. The software should be updated regularly, with innovative ideas incorporated and new techniques involved.

Also part of support is to keep customers informed when there are new modules in the software or a new operating system to implement, or to realise customer- specific requirements. Communication with different measurement systems also includes handling, because if you do not measure with a tube specialised software, you cannot correct tube data, and you will not achieve the perfect fitting accuracy. The 3D measurement technology belongs also to the support for tube and pipes, profiles, hoses and wires. 3DTubeCAD tube software is provided on request, free of charge for a limited period of time, to allow interested parties to test the complex software, or upgrade from older software. In 3DTubeCAD, commands are mainly represented by pictures that are clicked on, allowing its operation by international users who speak a language other than the seven included in the software (German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Polish and Russian). With computer technology allowing monitors to be viewed anywhere in the world, while speaking to the customer at the same time to help solve their problems, ‘quick support’ is the evolution of the help desk. This is not about cost saving, but for speedy support, so that customers can continue working within the shortest possible time.

Klaus Leistritz Consulting has set itself the goal of offering comprehensive support to customers who work with 3DTubeCAD tube specialised software. The company understands support not as a service, but as solution-orientated consultancy.
