US manufacturer SSP has appointed Boiswood as the UK distributor for its extensive range of instrumentation valves and fittings. The move represents an ambitious target to capture a substantial share of the UK market. SSP’s stainless steel and nickel alloy products, which are available from Boiswood from stock, include valves, fittings, adapters and fabricated assemblies. Also available with prompt delivery are products made frommaterials such as Monel or Hastelloy, as required in the petrochemical industry, for example. Sectors served include oil and gas, power generation, aerospace, chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals and semiconductor manufacturing, as well as alternative fuels and LNG vehicles. “Until now SSP have been little known in the UK,” said Boiswood managing director Tony Kent. “However, their
