½" to 16" with pressure classes ranging from 125 to 4,500lb (PN6-PN400). Our valves can be manufactured in special alloys such as (Super) Duplex, titanium, nickel alloys (Hastelloy, Incoloy, Inconel, Monel, Alloy 20, etc), and corrosion- resistant alloys. “This is our speciality, but we also manufacture valves in standard materials with specific requirements and short delivery times. Not everyone has such a wide range of valves and has the capability of manufacturing within a very limited timeframe.” Red Point is ISO 9001, CE/PED, OHSAS, API 6D, Ad 2000-Merkblatt and CRN/ABSA certified, and Mr Jansen stated that these qualifications enable the company to manufacture both single pieces and larger quantities in its modern machine shop. The company is listed on a number of approved manufacturers lists from well- known international companies, and is therefore recognised as a valued and reliable supplier of valves.

Commenting on what differentiates Red Point from other valve manufacturers, sales director Fred Jansen said, “We manufacture ball, check, gate, globe, double block and bleed, dual plate and tailor-made valves in a size range from

into the measurement point without regard to the position of the connection flange. The position of the flange can then be adjusted conveniently and reliably.” AS-Schneider developed this solution working closely with customers from the gas industry to meet the practical needs as effectively as possible. The company extensively tested the product before using it for the first time. “No new development leaves the company without being previously tested in the company’s laboratory specifically for quality and reliability,” said Mr Häffner. AS-Schneider is increasingly applying for patents for its inventions. The latest example is an optimised stabilised connector for valve manifolds. These are used, for example, to secure measurement devices on gas pipelines. They rest on thebodyof themeasurement aperture flange, increasing the stability of the connection. “This installation of this connector in the measurement area is usually very work- intensive,” explained Markus Häffner, head of design and development at AS-Schneider. “The adapter must be rotated to an exact position so that the output side of the connection flange has the proper alignment, which is very difficult to do due to the use of the conical male threads. In the new design, the connector can be easily screwed

Industrial valve specialist AS-Schneider maintains a strong culture of innovation, and invests heavily in development. The family-owned company recently applied for a patent for a new product. The company has an almost 140- year history, and attributes its long- term success largely to the continuous development of products. “We constantly optimise our products and do not just rest on our laurels, because the needs and requirements of our customers are also changing constantly,” said Rolf Kummer, managing director of AS-Schneider. “Only companies which consistently carry out development work can also set standards for the industry instead of chasing after the competition.”
