New managing director for AxFlow France AxFlow Holding, the fluid handling solutions business group of Axel Johnson International, has appointed Guillaume Chanay as managing director of AxFlow France. “Guillaume is well prepared to lead AxFlow France,” said Ole Weiner, CEO of AxFlow Holding.
Mr Chanay succeeds Bruno Breard, who will continue as senior management advisor to ensure a smooth management transition. Mr Breard also remains in his role as AxFlow Holding’s regional manager of Europe South. AxFlow Holding is a distributor of indus- trial fluid-handling equipment in Europe and South Africa. Mr Chanay joined AxFlow in 2004, with AxFlow’s acquisition of the SPX Process Equipment organisation in France. He has held several positions at AxFlow France, including Bran+Luebbe business manager, marketing manager and, most recently, commercial director.
Kemppi opens robotic welding application centre in China In order to strengthen its robotic welding business and speed up growth in Asia, Kemppi has opened a robotic welding application centre in China. The centre provides complete solutions and services to integrators and end customers. Kemppi’s experienced welding engineers help customers to optimise welding applications, and offer comprehensive training covering all aspects of welding. “Kemppi had its first deliveries to China at the end of the 1980s and has invested significantly in robotic welding solution development during the past years. The robotic welding application centre is a natural next step in serving the important and fast-growing robotic welding markets in China and Southeast Asia even better.
