PVC-O fittings for the conveyance of water With ecoFITTOM ® , Molecor offers a continuous and uniform system in PVC-O. This ensures the same hydraulic and mechanical properties in the different elements of the network, both in the pipes and in the fittings, as well as the total quality of the transported liquid, as ecoFITTOM is immune to corrosion and to the chemical aggressions of micro- and macro-organisms, thus complying with the health standards for water intended for human consumption. The fittings can be used in drinking water networks, irrigation systems, industrial applications, reclaimed water, and fire extinguishing networks, among other applications. The product, developed by Molecor, is claimed to offer greater technical performance while having a lower environmental impact. ecoFITTOM is fully compatible with all types of PVC for infrastructures, such as PVC-O, PVC-U and PVC-M. Bending from coil Processing of tubes starting from coil can offer important advantages: lower cost of raw material, less space required for storage, simplified logistic management of semi-finished products and reduction of material scraps due to machining mode. For these reasons, processing from coil has become standard in many sectors. BLM Group offers various solutions to meet specific needs.

4-Runner is an all-electric system for bending and end forming from coil with up to six passes, and right-hand and left- hand bending in-process, including the possibility to have a variable radius and an orbital outer cut module, managed by controlled axes or by disc. Two versions are available: 4-Runner H1 and 4-Runner H3. The H1 model works with tubes of diameter up to 12.7mm. Bending head dimensions are reduced andmake the systemparticularly suitable for producing complex components such as flat and 3D serpentines used in the automotive, cooling, air conditioning and heating sectors. 4-Runner H3 can machine tubes up to 22mm diameter and is suited to producing components for fluid transport systems. The ability to carry out flexion or stretch bending and the possibility to create very short sections make the system flexible and productive. The bending process from coil with mandrel requires the integration of two different systems: 3-Runner feeds the tube from coil, then carries out straightening, end-forming and cutting, while Smart carries out bending with mandrel. The automatic loader of the Smart allows full automation of the process that generates a part that is bent and

The distinguishing feature of these processes is the type of bend to be carried out, with or without mandrel. Bending without mandrel is carried out by the compact systems of the 4-Runner family, which gather all the operations in a single machine tool, from straightening to bending. For bending with mandrel starting from coil, BLM Group proposes an integrated solution that joins the two systems in an automatic production cell that is able to carry out all machining operations. 3-Runner feeds the tube from coil, carries out straightening and end forming at one end, and cuts the tube. The semi-finished part is then deposited on the automatic loader of the Smart, which carries out bending with mandrel.

Automatic systems are able to carry out complete production processes that include straightening, facing, end- forming of the free end, bending and final cutting. Systems that neatly unload the finished part can be easily integrated with other systems downstream for subsequent machining, typically end forming of the un-machined end from previous processes, performed with an E-Shape or E-Form system.
