and simple solution to the problem of transporting pipes.

Fit Gold, the new E-Z Fit Red boasts the widest single clamp range among the fixed leg style clamps, enabling the E-Z Fit Red to cover the range from 1" to 12", in just 3 clamps. In addition, Pipe manufactures a comprehensive range of pipe jack stands, designed to support (and transport) pipes of all sizes and weight, whether out on site, or in the workshop. The whole range of Pipe stands are weight load tested and certified, and are CE rated and marked. These stands provide fast, cost effective solutions to all pipe handling applications. The latest addition to Pipe’s support and handling range is the Pipe Buggy, offering a safe diameters from 16" to 276" and wall thicknesses ranging from 8 to 125mm. These pipes are produced in a broad variety of steel materials to offer a large portfolio of longitudinal SAW pipes. One of EEW’s main ambitions is to set new standards in the production of SAW pipes. Consequently the company continuously invests in technology and in human resources. In the past, the traditional and well- established JCO pipe manufacturing process was developed further to the JCO+C process, where the C stands for compression by an O-press. In

Pipe Ltd manufactures an extensive range of welding alignment clamps that have been designed and developed around the problems faced by pipe fitters and welders across the globe. The range of pipe clamps manufactured and offered by Pipe Ltd is unrivalled, whether welding small bore pipes and fittings, or aligning large diameter pipes or vessels, Pipe Ltd offers comprehensive range of weld fit-up solutions, enabling fast, accurate and most importantly, repeatable results. The latest addition to the range that will be on show is the new ‘E-Z Fit’ Red Pipe clamp. Offering an alternative to the already established and popular E-Z Pipe specialist Erndtebrücker Eisenwerk GmbH & Co KG (EEW) is now offering a solution to pipeline clients whose quantities are not sufficient for UOE mill production. Founded in 1936, EEW has expanded considerably over the past decades to become a leading specialist for the production of LSAW pipes. With production facilities in Germany, Korea and Malaysia, the EEW group disposes of an annual production capacity of approximately 450,000 tons.

With the increase in use of exotic materials (such as Duplex, Super Duplex and titanium) across the pipework fabrication industry, the need for welds of the highest quality and purity has become increasingly important. To achieve this quality, oxygen must be removed from, and kept out of, the weld chamber while the root pass (initial weld run) is performed.

order to meet the client’s stringent demands, EEW modified the conventional calibrations system to enable the production of pipes with very tight tolerances, while at the same time reducing the amount of residual stresses. This is achieved by multi- cycle compressing the pipes using a 35MN (3,500 tonne) uniaxial calibration press with specially designed tools. The resulting quality is reflected in EEW’s COMPipes ™ .
