The Pressure Vessel Manufacturers’ forum (PVMf) took a tour around the company’s Brightside Lane facilities on its third visit to South Yorkshire, UK. Forgemasters recently won a significant order to supply highly specialised forged pressure vessel components to a large global chemicals manufacturer, based in the US. The contract, valued at more than $3mn, will mean Forgemasters will produce forged parts for large-scale pressure vessels, designed to operate under highly stressed conditions in the manufacture of polyethylene.
