Tru-Cut Saw increases production space TRU-CUT Saw, Inc has completed a 7,500ft 2 addition to its 15,000ft 2 factory in Brunswick, Ohio, USA. The increase in manufacturing space will secure the company’s commitment to making metal cutting saw blades with short lead times for customers worldwide.

The expansion gives the company the opportunity to increase capacity of its new saw blade production and PVD coating department, ICO Surface Coatings, which is currently located inside Tru-Cut Saw’s factory. In the expansion Tru-Cut will produce its new carbide- and cermet-tipped saw blades from 200 to 1,400mm for customers cutting ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Richard Otter, vice-president of sales for Tru-Cut Saw, said: “We are really excited to have the expansion completed and now we can focus on the goal of having shorter delivery times for saw blades through the production lines.” Tru-Cut Saw maintains a large inven- tory of in-stock carbide- and cermet-
