Automatic adjustment of the motor speed returns the bending tool at increased speed, which shortens cycle times. The repeat accuracy has been increased and setting of the bending angle to 0.5° enabled. The bending systems from the 6000 series can precisely bend tubes with outer diameters up to 60mm. The frequency inverter technology in model 6000S for tubes up to Ø 48mm permits use of the machine at 230V. The rotary power drive consumes around 30 per cent less power than the previous model with 400V power supply. The 6000D model for tubes up to Ø 60mm still uses the 400V power supply. The practical touchscreen control makes operation simple, and 99 programs with up to eight bending angles can be saved. The ramp function (slow acceleration and deceleration of the bending axis) also increases precision and improves bend quality in the starting and end area.
