The Upcast process produces high quality Cu rod and tube for various applications. It is a simple and reliable process with easy operation through an advanced control system, with optimised energy consumption. The process allows different rod sizes to be cast simultaneously, and both production output and product mix can easily be adjusted according to the daily demands. Upcast lines are suitable for various materials. The main applications are pure OF-copper and copper-based alloys, as well as other non-ferrous metals.
