The new generation Minac from EFD Induction – digital to the core

up and gives the operator full control of the induction parameters for the heating processes. It has been designed to help increase productivity and provide control and efficiency, reduced maintenance requirements and shorter service response time.

The induction system also features a new control system, meaning that the Minac will have extended life through EFD Induction’s advanced machine audits and trouble-shooting and enhanced diagnostics, which will protect against unexpected costs. The Minac has a 10" capacitive colour touch screen, easy access to all system functions, which facilitates a quick set-

EFD INDUCTION has released the new generation Minac, which is prepared for Industry 4.0. The new Minac is designed for developments within advanced analytics and predictive maintenance, condition monitoring and alarming, automation and real-time data, machine learning, remote service and augmented reality. It also features easy-to-install software upgrades to enable users to keep their induction equipment up to date. The Minac is a mobile all-in-one induction system for the heating of any electrically conductive material. According to EFD, the Minac is ideal for jobs such as brazing, shrink-fitting, hardening, curing, straightening and many more. It can easily be transported to the work site and can be fitted with various coils and coil fixtures, single or twin power outputs, flexible cables, closed or separate cooling systems.

Hexagon introduces visualisation platform for accurate digital representation

of smart city and smart nation platforms that will increasingly reflect the needs of citizens today and in the future.” HxDR has been designed to help professionals make more informed decisions. According to Hexagon, architects can share 3D building designs with project stakeholders within accurate digital replicas of real-world locations and media and entertainment professionals can remotely scout production locations as well as leverage HxDR to streamline production workflows.

addressing the growing need for simple- to-create, yet highly sophisticated and accurate, visualisations of reality capture data that boost project efficiencies and cost savings,” said Hexagon president and CEO Ola Rollén. “We’re uniquely positioned to deliver this platformdue to the vast library of data captured from our world-leading sensor and visualisation services portfolio – a portfolio we continually enhance through R&D and strategic acquisitions such as Technodigit, Luciad, MyVR, and the newly acquired Melown Technologies. Moving forward, we anticipate HxDR will play a critical role in the formation

HEXAGON AB, a specialist in sensor, software and autonomous solutions, has announced the introduction of HxDR, a new cloud-based, digital reality visualisation platform. HxDR creates accurate digital representations of the real world through the seamless combination of reality capture data from airborne, ground and mobile sensors. Users can then leverage the complete, accurate and precise replicas to visualise and share their 3D design projects and models within a real-world context. “HxDR enables customers to create their own Smart Digital RealitiesTM,
