Fives celebrates multiple international orders of Bronx tube finishing equipment

As well as this, a European heavy industry solution provider has agreed an order for the fifth Bronx section straightener with equipment delivery scheduled for early 2023. It is a fully automatic, fully motorised 11-roll straightening machine equipped with the very latest Compass, a computer automatic setting system, customised to provide management, maintenance and quality control information.

A heavy-duty 10-roll straightener has also been contracted by a global steel pipe manufacturer for a plant located in south-eastern Russia. The new fully motorised machine will process high- yield seamless stainless steel pipes up to 280mm in diameter and wall thicknesses of up to 30mm.

INDUSTRIAL engineering group Fives has signed several orders for the delivery of Bronx straighteners to countries such as Mexico, Spain and Russia. Reika announces record breaking order for new tube and pipe mill project

Seamless stainless steel tubes in the diameter range of 42 to 273mm are the major production program on the fully automatic line, consisting of two parallel straightening lines followed by a cut-off line and an API chamfering line. Hans-Jörg Braun, Reika’s managing director, said: “Further orders can be concluded with the stainless steel tube

REIKA has announced that it has received the biggest order in the company’s history. A manufacturer of seamless stainless steel tubes opted for Reika for its new tube and pipe mill. The new mill will be equipped with a complete Reika finishing line and production is planned to start in the new plant in 2023 outside European borders.

apparently Reika’s experience in this sector for more than 50 years and our reference projects at Sandvik, Valinox, Chelpipe and Tubacex, just to quote a few, are well known. In other words, top quality tubes deserve top quality technology.” The rugged quality of the straightening machines with a straightness of up to 0.5mm/m over the entire tube length as well as the cutting performance of the RingSaw ® were also factors in this project. The entire finishing line will be supplied as a “turnkey” solution to ensure smooth and fast integration into the production process.
