Bültmann offers reliable tube and bar handling for efficient production lines

BÜLTMANN handling technology provides solid production technology, which is the basis for stable production processes. Bültmann handling components are specially tailored to Bültmann machines and, therefore, offer no compromises in the handling area, which is necessary in the case of complex, highly efficient production lines. Bültmann supplies a wide range of handling equipment, such as automatic feeding and separating devices, cross transport systems, longitudinal transports in various designs as well as cradles and packaging concepts. DieTronic develops complete anti-corrosion and anti-rust solution for tubes and pipes

dimensions and it is made up of three main components: a touch-screen control cabinet (input and control of all main parameters), a 40L tank and a multi-stage cleaning chamber. The chamber is provided with dividers of different sizes, through which the pipe can pass and on which four manifolds dispense the cleaning oil. The dividers are interchangeable in size according to the tubes that need to be cleaned. Furthermore, two holes, one for cleaning and maintenance and another for the automatic drainage to allow recovery the dispensed product and the contamination removed during the tube cleaning process. These accessories, together with the pneumatic air knife, the anti-rust spray system and the minimum quantity lubrication technique for the saw blade are all part of DieTronic’s complete solution to the problem of corrosion.

DieTronic has designed two special cleaning accessories to be located before the well-known anti-rust spraying system, this is the coil cleaning unit and the tube cleaner system. These two devices were designed to optimise the efficiency and quality of oil spray later in the process and to reduce unnecessary waste of product. The Coil Cleaning System, placed just before the tube forming section, ensures effective cleaning of the coil thanks to the use of a lower roller with rotating brushes that move transversally across the strip surface. The next essential unit, located after the calibration(sizing) mill, is the Tube Cleaner System, which starts with a ‘deep pre-cleaning’ phase, especially important for very dirty tubes. This is carried out using solvents or water-based liquids at a controlled temperature. An example where this is needed would be tubes for the automotive industry.
