New seamless tube lines offering high levels of Swiss accuracy from Zwahlen & Mayr SA

A NEW seamless line will complete the highly accurate Zwahlen & Mayr SA product range this year. Thanks to more than 40 years of expertise, its highly skilled staff and continually investing in and improving its technological solutions, the company has managed to maintain its position at the highest level of redrawn precision technology globally. The company’s mission is to produce state-of-the-art precision tubes – welded and seamless – satisfying all of its customer needs and developing worldwide long-term partnerships. Its stainless steel tubes are manu- factured in house in order to guarantee constistent mechanical parameters, specific surface roughness and tight dimensional tolerances. These tubes then go through a special redrawing process in order to achieve extreme precise characteristics such

as the following, according the the company: • Narrow dimensional tolerances • Ultra smooth surface with specific roughness outside and inside • Specific mechanical values • Very short tubes (min. 4mm – 0.157")
